Brushbox – Universal Feeding System

The Prodieco designed Brushbox | Universal Feeding System is the result of over 20 years of feeder design knowledge. The system can be designed for most blister machines. It has been designed to increase feed efficiency and for very fast changeovers between products. The changeover of brush parts is simple, straightforward and minimises downtime. The universal feeding system can have brushes and/or planetary paddles installed, depending on requirements.

HMH Sypro

The Sypro® Feed System improves the performance and increases the productivity of your production line. This servo driven feed system works on both continuous and intermittent blister lines. All adjustments on the feeder are managed electronically through the HMI interface. This allows for very fine tuning adjustments to the height of feeder from the web, speed, vibration and allows the separation pins to be adjusted even during operation. Once the optimal feeding settings are in place these are stored on the database. Each product only needs the programme to be called up and then automatically adjusts to the correct settings. Sypro® equals faster change overs and guarantees highly efficient fill rates.

Vibratory Feeding Systems

Prodieco offers a range of Vertical feeder designs for both thermoform and coldform blisters.  Guaranteeing only one product enters each cavity, different release mechanisms are designed based on the product geometry and shape. Key considerations for the design of effective feeders are the thickness tolerance of the product, to build in smart features to prevent product locking in the lanes. The product transfer from the quadrant to the lanes in terms of orientation is a crucial factor in determining the feeder speed output. For vertical feeders with drum, key design features include the transfer from the lane to drum and the number of packs to fit around the drum. The feeders are fully tested in the Feederlab to ensure efficient and effective feeding before delivery to your site.

SimTap Feeder

With a wealth of experience of SimTap feeder design, we focus on the feed rate efficiency with this feeder type. Especially suited for oval and irregular product shapes, but also for conventional tablets and capsules. Product is released accurately into the pocket to ensure centralisation in the pocket and sufficient head space is maintained.

Key design considerations focus on the shape of the internal tubes to suit the product tolerance, the colour of tubes for multiproduct packs, position of the stopper pins, design of the exit chutes and the design of the entry to the top of the tube in the Hopper well. We perform rigorous testing and analysis to optimise the SimTap based on a wide knowledge of feeder types and shapes, our design team can create success where others have failed or given up.
